A JOURNAL OF YACHT INTERIOR DESIGN          EDITED BY  Alexandra Kraft          EST. mMXXVI

casa lumina.

Casa Lumina is a residential interior defined by restraint and material precision.

The palette works almost entirely within a white and marble range — surfaces that could easily feel cold in other hands, but here read as genuinely calm. The decision to introduce an automated fireplace as the room’s focal point is deliberate: it gives the space warmth without compromising the clarity of the overall design.

Bespoke furniture — scaled correctly, positioned with care — keeps the interior from feeling sparse. The joinery is clean and considered. Nothing competes for attention.

The project demonstrates something the studio returns to consistently: that a space defined by a very limited palette can carry significant atmosphere, provided the materials are right and the proportions are honest.
